SB Acoustics in SG & MY
Two blokes who couldn't afford hi-fi, so they learned to build it. Two decades later, we're the SB Acoustics distributors for Singapore & East & West Malaysia.
We sell drivers, kits, and assembled speakers.
Free advice on your speaker plans — stereo or home theatre, DIY or ready-made.
Who is SB Acoustics?
Danesian Audio is a Danish outfit full of industry veterans responsible for some of the most famous loudspeaker drivers you've never heard of.
Sinar Baja Electric has been manufacturing transducers in Indonesia for over 40 years — casting baskets, winding voice coils, spraying piano gloss cabinets, all under one roof.
SB Acoustics is what happens when the Danes design it and the Indonesians build it properly. The result is driver performance that embarrasses brands charging five times more.
We would say "best value in the world" but some upset brands' lawyers might call.
Why choose SB Acoustics?
Because your wallet deserves better than a 5× retail markup.
World Class Drivers
The engineers behind Danesian Audio designed drivers for brands your audiophile friends won't shut up about. Then they left and started SB Acoustics — same talent, minus the markup.
Egyptian Papyrus cones. Beryllium domes. TeXtreme carbon fibre from Formula 1. Neodymium motors with copper Faraday rings. Every Satori driver Klippel-tested.
Not budget drivers punching above their weight. World-class drivers that refuse to charge world-class prices.
Professional Cabinetry
All SB kits come with professional cabinets in piano gloss finishes.
Piano gloss finishes that look like they cost far more than they did. Your house guests will ask where you bought them. You'll enjoy being vague.
Danish Aesthetics
SB loudspeakers design is minimalist, form follows function & distinctly Danish.
Minimalist, clean, distinctly Scandinavian.
These speakers don't need a grille to look good - which is fortunate because you'll never want to put one on.
Meticulous CABINET DESIGN
Not a rectangular box with drivers shoved in.
Angled baffles for time alignment. Non-parallel internal walls to kill standing waves. Wedge-shaped rear chambers to reduce reflections.
SB designs cabinets the way most brands design their flagship — except SB does it for every Satori kit.
Pre-assembled crossovers
Assembled, tested, and wired with connectors that only fit one way.
You literally cannot wire the bass to the tweeter.
We know because someone tried.
No soldering. No guesswork. Just plug in and stop worrying.
Every driver, tested
The top brands in the industry Klippel-test one in fifty drivers off the line.
SB tests every single Satori driver against a golden reference.
Buy one today, buy another in three years — they'll match tighter than so-called "matched pairs" from brands charging considerably more.
speaker kits that look good, and sound even better
Speaker kits that look good enough to start conversations and sound good enough to end arguments. Built by obsessive Danes, assembled by you, judged by your wife.
Sasandu
The flagship. Three-way, beryllium tweeter, Egyptian Papyrus cones top to bottom. This is what happens when SB stops holding back.
Sasandu TeXtreme®
Flagship 3-way Floorstanding Loudspeaker featuring all-TeXtreme tweeter, midwoofer and woofer cones
Rinjani Be
2.5-way floorstander with dual Papyrus midwoofers and a beryllium tweeter. Does the heavy lifting without breaking a sweat — or your bank account.
Ara TeXtreme®
The smallest speaker with the most advanced cone material SB makes. Fits on a shelf. Fills a room.
Ara Be
The bookshelf that retired many other brands' flagship bookshelf monitors.
Don't take our word for it — take the customer's.
Gema
Retro curves, modern guts. SB's nod to the golden age of loudspeaker design, except it actually measures well.
